Terms of Service

By using Xedar, you accept these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service. These terms form the agreement between you and Xedar regarding your use of the service.

Xedar is a financial management platform for Malaysian individuals and businesses — tax tracking, receipt management, form pre-fill, business accounting. We provide the service "as is" and continuously improve it. Features may evolve.

• You must be 18+ or have parental consent.
• Keep your password secure. Enable 2FA.
• You're responsible for activity under your account.
• Notify us at hello@xedar.my if you suspect unauthorised access.

You agree NOT to:

• Use Xedar for unlawful activity, fraud, or tax evasion.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or interfere with the service.
• Upload malware, illegal content, or another person's data without their consent.
• Share your account credentials.

• Personal: Free forever. No payment information required.
• Sole Prop (RM 699/year): 14-day free trial, no credit card to start.
• Business (RM 1,990/year): 14-day free trial, no credit card to start.
• Annual billing. Auto-renewal unless cancelled.
• Payment via our PCI-compliant processor. We don't store full card numbers.
• Prices in MYR. May change with 30 days notice for existing subscribers.

Subscriptions are non-refundable past 14 days. Within 14 days: full refund, no questions. Exceptions for sustained service outages or our material breach — case by case.

Xedar, the Xedar logo, the brand system, all software, content, and design are the intellectual property of Xedar. Your data remains yours — we receive a limited licence to process it solely to provide the service.

• You may delete your account anytime.
• We may suspend or terminate your account for breach of these terms, illegal activity, or failure to pay.
• On termination, your data is retained per our Privacy Policy retention schedule.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Xedar's total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the service is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Xedar is not a licensed tax agent. The service helps you understand your tax position and prepare forms — it does not constitute formal tax advice or legal opinion. For binding advice, consult a licensed tax agent or accountant. Tax law changes; we update Xedar accordingly but cannot guarantee instantaneous reflection of every regulatory change.

You agree to indemnify Xedar against claims arising from your misuse of the service, violation of these terms, or violation of third-party rights.

These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia.

Disputes are resolved first by good-faith negotiation. If unresolved within 60 days, by arbitration under the Asian International Arbitration Centre (AIAC) rules in Kuala Lumpur.

We may update these terms. Material changes are notified by email at least 30 days in advance. Continued use after the effective date indicates acceptance.

If any provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
